A beautiful amethyst on matrix from the Purple Ninja Pocket, Piedra Parada, Tatatila Municipality, Veracruz, Mexico. This specimen features two prominent amethyst crystals that have grown together in a V-shape cluster. The crystals are sharp, glassy and have a nice purple color. A third crystal formed near the base and juts out at an alternate angle, adding to the composition of the piece. It is in good condition, with only a nearly microscopic tip ding worth mentioning.
