A beautiful amethyst on matrix from the Purple Ninja Pocket, Piedra Parada, Tatatila Municipality, Veracruz, Mexico. This specimen features two prominent amethyst crystals that have grown together in a V-shape cluster on a bit of matrix. The crystals are sharp, glassy and have a nice light purple color with darker purple phantoms. A third crystal formed near the base and juts out at an alternate angle, adding to the composition of the piece. It is in good condition, with no significant damage worth mentioning.
