A beautiful amethyst on matrix from the Purple Ninja Pocket, Piedra Parada, Tatatila Municipality, Veracruz, Mexico. This specimen features a grouping of gem-quality amethyst crystals with excellent color and luster that have all formed together in a highly aesthetic formation. Two more prominent crystals jut out from a bit of matrix - they are nicely accentuated by several smaller amethyst crystals. One small crystal near the base has broken off and is showing its root, but the specimen is in great condition otherwise.
