A very nice smoky quartz cluster with brookite crystals from recent production at Moses Hill, in Magnet Cove, in Hot Spring Co., Arkansas. This specimen features numerous smoky quartz crystals of varying sizes that have formed together in a cluster. Two larger, prominent crystals stick up from the group, drawing your eye. Perched on these and the surrounding smaller crystals are jet-black crystals of brookite, a rare titanium mineral. The specimen is in good condition overall but there are a few broken crystals that are showing their roots and one of the larger crystals has a tip ding.
