A very nice smoky quartz cluster with brookite crystals from recent production at Moses Hill, in Magnet Cove, in Hot Spring Co., Arkansas. This specimen features an etched smoky quartz crystal with alternating gemmy and opaque zones that hosts sharp, jet-black brookite crystals. Brookite is a rare titanium mineral that is found at Magnet Cove in superb quality. This piece shows numerous small brookites that have formed on the quartz. It is in good condition with no major damage to report.
