A superb Japan-law twin quartz on matrix from the Collier Creek Mine, near Mt. Ida, in Montgomery Co., Arkansas. This specimen features a classic, V-shaped Japan-law twin quartz crystal nestled amongst a crowd of smaller elongated, prismatic quartz crystals. The twin has superb clarity and luster and is in pristine condition - as for the rest of the specimen, I can only find one small crystal on the edge that has a tip ding. The arrangement of the crystals on the matrix is quite attractive, with the twin centered in the middle of the cluster. The specimen comes with a custom milled and engraved acrylic base - made in house by our master carver Jacob.
