A very nice Japan-law twin quartz cluster from the Collier Creek Mine, near Mt. Ida, in Montgomery Co., Arkansas. This piece features a prominent Japan-law twin quartz crystal, nestled amongst a group of prismatic crystals. The twin is sharp and good clarity. The striated faces run in opposite directions from the twin line. The piece is completely crystallized all the way around - even the underside, which shows a light recrystallization where it experienced some disruption in the pocket while mineralizing solution was still present. It is in very good condition with no significant damage to report. Custom mounting is available at checkout.
