An outstanding quartz cluster from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, Arkansas. This stunning specimen features two large, doubly terminated quartz crystals that formed together. The crystals naturally separated in the pocket, and we repaired it along the contact point. Both crystals are doubly terminated and have excellent, mirror-like luster. The smaller of the two is incredibly clear with a faint smoky hue and the larger crystal exhibits the parallel-growth habit the mine has become known for. Both crystals have black inclusions just under the surface on the backside - particularly in the terminal faces. This inclusion is technically an unknown but we presume it to be carbon. The piece comes with a custom milled and engraved acrylic mount, made in house by our master carver.
