A very nice quartz cluster from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This specimen consists of two main quartz crystals that have intergrown. These are not showing parallel growth but are offset from one another. Each crystal is very gemmy and has a high luster. Some orange clay is trapped between the contact where the crystals grew together, giving the piece an yellow-orange color. It is in good condition with no significant damage to report.
