A lovely quartz crystal from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This crystal developed as a full floater, meaning it is crystallized all the way around. One side shows large primary faces, while the other side exhibits complex recrystallization, indicating that it broke in the pocket while mineralizing solution was still present and allowed for the regrowth on the broken face (or maybe a second mineralizing fluid entered the cavity at a later time causing the recrystallization?). There is a minor contacted/dinged area at the very bottom of the piece, but it is good condition overall, having no other issues or damage worth mentioning.
