A very interesting quartz crystal from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This is a complex doubly terminated crystal that clearly experienced significant stress and disruption in the pocket while the mineralizing solution was still present - indicated by the large, recrystallized faces. It developed as a floater, meaning it is completely crystallized all the way around. A significant crack can be seen where the entire crystal split in the middle and then completely recrystallized as a result of this process. It is in good condition with no significant damage worth mentioning.
