A lovely quartz cluster on matrix from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This specimen features groupings of water clear quartz crystals that have formed over a bit of sandstone matrix. There is one prominent focal crystal, larger than the others, that draws your eye - it is of superb quality, as are the smaller accentuating crystals. A fine doubly terminated gem crystal sits next to the large one, surrounded by a crowd of smaller clear points of varying sizes and shapes. The piece is in good condition overall, but there is some damage to the bottom of the large crystal where it was either doubly terminated or sheared off the pocket wall.
