A very interesting quartz crystal from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This is a complex doubly terminated crystal that clearly experienced significant stress and disruption in the pocket while the mineralizing solution was still present - indicated by the large, recrystallized faces. Both of the large crystals show parallel growth, where multiple terminations share prism faces. The specimen developed as a floater, meaning it is completely crystallized all the way around. It is in good condition with no significant damage worth mentioning.
