A very nice quartz crystal from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This large, elongated crystal has mirror-like luster and a good gem zone at the tip. The milky portion of the crystal still lets light through, and the prism faces have good striations and still maintain their luster. Numerous small crystals have overgrown one face on the backside, and the crystal is actually doubly terminated, although a portion of the lower termination is missing. There is also a thin but significant chip missing from one of the back prism faces, and the termination has several very small but noticeable dings - were it not for the damage this crystal would cost significantly more.
