A very interesting quartz cluster on matrix from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This wild specimen features numerous quartz crystals that have formed over two bits of sandstone matrix - the sandstone creates a crystal cave on the underside of the specimen that is completely crystallized inside! It's like a geode within a quartz cluster. It is in good condition with no significant damage to report. It sits well on its own showing the crystal cave, but our custom mounting is available at checkout.
