Quartz
Quartz
A very interesting quartz cluster from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This specimen consists of a group of doubly terminated crystals that have formed together in an attractive arrangement. It developed as a floater, meaning it's a 360-degree piece - completely crystallized all the way around with no point of attachment. The bottom shows complex and dramatic recrystallization and the crystals have good luster and some clarity. Although they have some white wispy areas, those areas still allow light to pass. There is a significant chip to the large thin crystal on the right-hand side of the specimen but there is no other significant damage to report. Custom mounting is available at checkout.
