A superb quartz cluster from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This crystal is a fine example of the elongated "candlestick" quartz the mine is known for. It has exceptional luster and clarity, as well as nice striations and growth lines. Small "sugar" quartz crystals have overgrown two of the faces on the backside, while the remaining faces are slick and smooth. There are several contacts at the base of the specimen where other crystals were once attached, but the specimen is in good condition otherwise, with no significant damage worth reporting. It comes with a custom acrylic base, milled and engraved in house, by our master carver Jacob.
