A superb quartz crystal from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, Arkansas. This chunky crystal has exceptional luster, good gemmy zones, modified faces and specs of black inclusions (presumably carbon). The inclusions are in one of the front faces on this piece, which is not typical - the inclusions are almost always in the "back" of the crystal. This piece also has a natural light grey smoky hue and exhibits parallel growth. There is a secondary crystal on the right-hand side that has an area where a shard came off in the pocket and lightly recrystallized, but the specimen is free of any actual damage.
