A superb, gem-quality quartz crystal from the famous McEarl Mine, near Blue Springs, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This crystal is from the celebrated finds of the 1980s, which many consider to be the finest discovery of clear quartz in the world, certainly the continent. It's so clear that it almost disappears when trying to photograph it - like crystallized ice. This crystal does have an internal stress line within its interior, which is actually unusual for this material. Most are completely gem clean with no wisps or inclusions. It is in great condition - but if you run your fingernail down the edges, you can find very tiny edge dings here and there (<1mm). This piece was purchased by a friend of mine directly from Jimmy Coleman in the early 1990s, and still has the original box it came in. Custom mounting is available at checkout.
