A superb, gem-quality quartz crystal from the famous McEarl Mine, near Blue Springs, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This crystal is from the celebrated finds of the 1980s, which many consider to be the finest discovery of clear quartz in the world, certainly the continent. It's so clear that it almost disappears when trying to photograph it - like crystallized ice. The crystal is highly lustrous on all faces and completely transparent from tip to tail. It is of such quality that it disperses light into rainbows when turned around in your hand. It has one contacted area on the right-hand side but is free of any actual damage. This piece was purchased by a friend of mine directly from Jimmy Coleman in the early 1990s, and still has the original box it came in. Custom mounting is available at checkout.
