A superb quartz crystal cluster from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, Arkansas. This specimen consists of one large focal crystal that is completely crystallized all the way around - some areas with very complex recrystallization ("rehealing"). The main crystal is accentuated beautifully by a group of smaller crystals of varying sizes. The crystal faces have a high, mirror-like luster and interesting growth hillocks and striations. The terminal end exhibits what we like to call a "tip slip", where a portion of the termination sheared off while still in the pocket and the reattached through recrystallization but offset a bit from its original position. Super interesting. The only damage to report is a chip on one of the smaller crystals - otherwise, the piece is excellent condition. Custom mounting is available at checkout.
