A fantastic "glassback" quartz cluster from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, Arkansas. The term "glassback" is a local trade name that refers to these thin quartz plates that have fully formed prismatic crystals on one side, and highly complex recrystallization on the bottom. This example stands out from the crowd, as it has some negative space where crystals didn't form, giving it a dramatic aesthetic. The crystals are highly lustrous, and many are quite gemmy. There is no significant damage to report.
