An absolutely stunning example of a Japan-law twin quartz crystal from the famous Collier Creek Mine, near Mt. Ida, in Montgomery Co., Arkansas. This textbook Japan-law twin quartz is perfectly centered amongst small accentuating crystals. The twin exhibits the class the classic V-shape but interestingly, has terminations in two distinct habits. The twin line is very prominent, running straight up the middle, and the striations run in opposite directions on either crystal. There is a quartz crystal on the back of the twin that is partially included and produces and exquisite rainbow that really gives this specimen that wow factor. There is small minor wear on the edges, a small chip on one lower edge, and some contacting near the bottom but none of this shows too much and overall, the specimen is in acceptably good condition. It comes with a custom milled and engraved acrylic mount, made in-house by our master carver, Jacob.
