A beautiful smoky quartz crystal from I Me Mine, near Jessieville, in Garland Co., Arkansas. This large single crystal boasts a light, but natural, smoky grey hue that is relatively uncommon in Arkansas quartz. It has very high luster, good clarity, and ghostly wisps within its interior. The prism faces exhibit beautiful striations while retaining their luster, and the terminal faces have interesting geometric growth hillocks and "record keepers". Black inclusions (presumably carbon) are present on the backside and create a partial phantom. There is a significant ding to edge of the front terminal face, as well as a second chip on a prism edge. The termination also has a few tiny dings (<1mm). This damage is unfortunate, but it does hide well, and the piece is still quite showy. Custom mounting is available at checkout.
